Worship

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.

- Psalm 100:1-3

What to Expect

Our worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. and typically runs 60-75 minutes.

Worshippers may expect the following general format:
  • We gather for a time of sharing, prelude, call to worship, singing, prayers of confession, and passing of the peace
  • We listen through scripture, chancel or bell choir anthem, children's moments, and a sermon
  • We respond through a time of offering, prayer, and singing
  • We follow God's word into the world through a closing hymn, blessing, response hymn, and postlude
We gather for a time of fellowship, coffee, and cookies in the Gathering Room following worship.

Who says Presbyterians aren't fun?

In April, we continued the joyful celebration of Easter with Holy Humor Sunday. We brought in balloons, clowns, and light-hearted church-friendly jokes. After worship we enjoyed a punny lunch together!

Why did the Christian chicken go to the other side of the road?
To get a cross!
